RiSOBARRiO
Open RiSO workshop

The open RiSO workshop in Frankfurt-Bockenheim: Design your own prints using the environmentally friendly RiSO process, which inspires a vibrant DIY community worldwide. With hands-on, professional guidance, we share our enthusiasm for this colorful and sustainable technology.

Every second Tuesday of the month from 5 to 8 p.m., you can design and print your own ideas. Whether it's wedding invitations or business cards for the shop around the corner, concert posters or flyers for your club, art projects or Christmas gifts—the workshop is ideal for small print runs, experiments, and test prints.

When and where?

From January 13, every second Tuesday of the month
5–8 p.m. (register here)

Basaltstraße 9 (backyard)
60487 Frankfurt-Bockenheim

The workshop is accessible via a ramp, but toilets are not wheelchair accessible and can only be reached via steps.

FAQ – How the open printing workshop works

  • Registration

Unfortunately our space is limited. Please use the registration form if you want to attend. We will confirm your registration via email.

  • What you can print

In the printing workshop, you can print single-sided with one or two colours on normal to medium-weight paper (80–150 g/m²) in DIN A3 format. Colored paper is also available. Unfortunately, borderless printing is not possible. The maximum print area is slightly smaller than A3 (287 × 410 mm). We print small runs of 5 to a maximum of 20 sheets with you.

  • No prior knowledge required

You don't need any prior knowledge. Craft materials are available, and we are happy to help you realise your ideas.

  • Analogue or digital

Feel free to bring along your personal designs. Whether it's a drawing, collage, printout or digital photo, we will work with you to see how your analogue and digital designs can be realized with the Riso.

  • For advanced users

Do you already have finished designs or even print data? No problem! We will check them together for feasibility and will be happy to share our experience with you.

  • Free of charge

Prints made in the print workshop are free of charge. We would of course be delighted to receive a donation. If you want to print a larger number of copies, you will be asked to contribute towards the cost price.
